Card Counting Blackjack Game

Solo Table unlocks at level 3

Keep drilling the counting and decision trainers to level up. It opens a full hand-by-hand table where a practice bankroll of play chips rides on the count you keep.

Train decisions →

A complete play-money blackjack table where the count drives the money. You keep a Hi-Lo count through the shoe, size the bet yourself, then play the hand out — and the table scores both halves separately.

The game loop

Every hand starts at the betting circle with a bankroll of practice chips — 1,000 to begin with, in denominations of 5, 25, 100 and 500.

Put a bet up, deal, and the hand plays out as normal: hit, stand, double, split or surrender, then the dealer works its own hand according to your rules and the bankroll settles.

The shoe persists between hands, which is the entire point — the count you built on the last hand is the count you bet on this one. It reshuffles once about 72% of it has been dealt, and the running count resets to zero when it does.

Betting to the count

The table keeps a Hi-Lo running count on every card it shows you and divides it by the decks remaining for a true count, rounded down to a whole number.

That true count maps to a recommended bet in units of 25 chips:

  • True count below +2 — one unit, the floor of the recommendation.
  • +2 — two units.
  • +3 — four units.
  • +4 — six units.
  • +5 or higher — eight units.

There is no table minimum

One unit is the smallest bet the count ever recommends, not the smallest bet the table accepts.

The chips are 5, 25, 100 and 500, and the only bet it refuses to deal is zero — so you can sit at a single 5-chip bet through a whole shoe if what you want to practise is the count rather than the spread.

Checking yourself

With the count shown, a bet guide under your betting circle names that recommendation and a tap bets it, but betting by hand and comparing afterwards is the better drill.

Anything from six-tenths of the recommendation up to about 1.8 times it reads as a good bet, so the feedback rewards being in the right band rather than hitting a number exactly.

The running count and the true count stand on a sign on the felt, the decks left sit beside the dealer's shoe, and the Count control in the table's menu hides the sign. Hiding it is the real exercise: hold your own count through a few hands, bet it, then show the sign again and see whether you drifted. Play accuracy is tracked apart from the bankroll — every decision is compared against the count-aware correct play, index plays included, so a winning session full of sloppy hits still reads as a losing one where it counts.

Set Count to Ask me and the sign reads “?” until the shuffle, when the table asks for your running count and you key it in before the sign turns over. A shoe played that way from its first hand ends with a Shoe Test scorecard: every play against basic strategy (index plays go ungraded, because the table is not told your count), every bet within one unit of this table's ramp, and the count itself; on a shoe of six decks or more, all three clean is a pass. A practice test modelled on a team test-out.

The table unlocks at blackjack level 3

Until then this route shows a locked panel rather than a table.

Levels come from XP and XP comes from the drills: the counting trainer pays per checkpoint, the decision trainer per graded hand. A few focused rounds of either will open it.

The gate is deliberate. The Solo Table asks you to hold a count, convert it, size a bet and play a chart correctly all at once, and doing any of those badly here only teaches the wrong habit faster.

Card Counting Blackjack Game FAQ

Is this real money?

No — it is play money for practice. The chips, the bankroll and the bet spread are all simulated. There is nothing to deposit and nothing to withdraw, and the table exists to drill the mechanics of counting, not to gamble.

Why is the Solo Table locked?

It opens at blackjack level 3. Earn XP in the counting trainer and the decision trainer and it unlocks on its own — the locked panel links straight back to the drills that get you there.

Which counting system does the Solo Table use?

Hi-Lo, always — the +1 / 0 / −1 tags, no matter which system you have selected in the counting trainer. The index plays the engine carries are Hi-Lo indices too, so the count on screen and the correct play it grades you against stay consistent.

Can I change the table rules?

Yes, in your settings. Soft 17, surrender and double after split change the dealer's play or the graded answer, the payout changes what a blackjack pays, and deck count sets the size of the shoe.
