The Omega II card counting system

Level 2 (multi-level)BalancedAce side count

Omega II is a balanced, multi-level count and one of the most powerful systems in common use. It assigns two-tier values — 4, 5, 6 are +2 while 2, 3, 7 are +1; tens are −2 and the 9 is −1 — with the 8 and Ace neutral. The extra resolution gives it excellent playing and betting accuracy, at the cost of being noticeably harder to keep at speed.

Omega II tag values

Every rank's count value in Omega II, straight from the trainer's engine:

A2345678910JQK
0+1+1+2+2+2+10-1-2-2-2-2

Because it's balanced, a full deck counts to zero — divide the running count by the decks remaining to get the true count you bet and deviate on.

Strengths

  • Top-tier playing and betting accuracy
  • Two-level tags capture more information per card
  • Balanced, so the true-count conversion still applies

What to watch out for

Level-2 tags (+2 / −2) and a recommended ace side count make Omega II demanding — build speed on Hi-Lo first.

Who it's best for

Omega II is best for advanced counters who want maximum power. Whatever system you choose, the edge only shows up on top of perfect basic strategy, so drill your decisions alongside the count.

Practice Omega II free
